Ice Carving Festivals in Canada
This year in Canada there have been several ice sculpture festivals and competitions. Three masters from the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) participated in three of these competitions, them being Egor Stepanov, Fedor Markov, and Aleksei Andreyev.

The first festival, "Ice Magic Festival", took place between the 17th and 24th of January on the shores Lake Louise at the Banff National Park in Alberta.
The second festival, "Ice on Whyte", took place between the 25th and 27th of January at the End of Steel Park in Edmonton, Alberta.
The third festival, "Winterlude", took place between the 1st and 3rd of February at the Crystal Garden (Confederation) Park in Canada's capital city of Ottawa.
